Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 30, 2026

The short version: What you check stays on your phone. Natarta has no accounts and no tracking, and we never sell your information. This website works the same way: what you check here stays in your browser.

Who we are

Natarta (“Natarta”, “we” or “us”) operates the Natarta app and natarta.com. You can reach us at support.natarta@gmail.com.

This website

The checker on this website runs entirely in your browser, with the same built-in checks as the app (without the app’s weekly list updates). What you type or paste into the checker is never sent to us or anyone else, and it isn’t saved. The page’s security settings only let it talk to natarta.com itself, and only when you press Ask Natarta AI or Send on feedback.

Ask Natarta AI (optional). Only when you press Ask Natarta AI, what you typed is sent to Natarta’s AI, which runs on our hosting provider’s AI service, to get an answer. Before it leaves our server, things like card, account and phone numbers and email addresses are hidden. We don’t save your question or the answer, and they aren’t used to train AI. Don’t include passwords or card numbers. If you use the microphone, your browser turns your speech into text (some browsers use their maker’s online speech service for this); we only receive the text you send.

Feedback. If you send feedback, we store what you wrote, the topic you picked, the page you sent it from and the time, and we use it only to improve Natarta. We don’t ask for your name or email, we don’t store your internet address or browser details with it, and we don’t reply. Email addresses, phone numbers, card numbers and links are removed automatically, but please don’t include personal information. Feedback is deleted after 12 months at most.

Abuse protection. To stop spam, the website briefly counts requests using a scrambled (hashed) form of your internet address. It’s kept only in temporary memory for a few minutes and never saved.

This website uses no cookies, no ads, no analytics and no trackers. If you pick Dark, Light or Match phone, that choice is remembered only in your own browser.

Like any website, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical details, such as your internet address and browser type, to deliver the page and protect it from abuse. We don’t use them to identify or follow you.

Waitlist. Joining the waitlist opens an email from you to support.natarta@gmail.com. We use your address only to tell you when Natarta is available, and we never share it. To be removed at any time, just reply and ask.

What you check

Texts, emails, links, phone numbers, photos, videos and QR codes you check are looked at on your phone only. They are not uploaded to us or anyone else.

To read the words in a photo, screenshot or PDF, the app may download free, open-source reading software and English language data from a public service that hosts open-source code the first time you use it. The picture or file itself is never sent; it is read on your phone. Like any website, that service may see basic technical details such as your internet address.

Natarta reads your clipboard only when you tap Paste, and only to fill the check box.

Your recent checks are saved on your phone so you can see them again. Deleting the app deletes them.

Scam alerts and your area (optional)

If you turn on local alerts, Natarta keeps only your general area (like a ZIP code or city and state) on your phone. If you choose “Use my approximate location”, your phone works out the area once and immediately discards the exact position. We never track where you go.

To show alerts, the app downloads public alert lists from our website. Like any website, our hosting provider may see basic technical details such as your internet address. The download does not include your area or anything you checked.

Speaking instead of typing (optional)

If you tap Speak, your phone turns your words into text. On most phones this happens on the phone itself. On some older phones, the phone’s built-in speech service may process the audio under its own privacy policy. Natarta never receives or keeps the recording.

Morning calm (optional)

Morning calm is off unless you say yes when Natarta offers it (it asks once, and only after you’ve used the app). If you do, your phone schedules it itself: one short line every day at dawn, 6:00 AM, usually that day’s Daily Calm line and sometimes a safety tip. Natarta uses no push service, no server and no notification token for this, and nothing about you or your reminders is sent anywhere.

There is no switch for it inside the app. To stop it, turn off notifications for Natarta in your phone’s settings; Natarta then stops scheduling it.

Safety list updates

About once a week the app downloads an updated list of known scam websites the same way, including a list of fake crypto and wallet websites (from a public, open-source list). Nothing about you is sent, and the websites you check are matched on your phone.

The app also downloads, the same way, public headlines from trusted news outlets and fact-checkers, short “Happening now” scam reports based on official government alerts, and lists of phone numbers reported to the FCC and to the FTC’s Do Not Call program (from the agencies’ public complaint data). Numbers you check are looked up on your phone and never sent.

If you tap “Check how old this site is”, only that website’s name (like example.com) is sent to a free public domain-registry service. Nothing else you checked is sent.

Device Guard

Device Guard runs entirely on your phone. About once a week the app downloads, the same way, a list of web addresses that published security research ties to spyware and stalkerware (from public, open-source research lists), along with the public list of current iPhone software versions. Links you check are matched on your phone and never sent.

To show how well your phone is protected, the app reads your phone’s software version and whether a screen lock is set (just on or off, never the code itself). The steps you tick in the health check, and your phone health score, are saved only on your phone. None of this is uploaded, and Natarta can’t see your other apps, messages or files.

Tips and the Guardian badge

Tips are optional. Tapping “Support Natarta” opens a secure page from our payment processor in your browser. It handles your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive only what it shares with merchants (like the amount and a receipt email if you give one), and we never see your full card number.

After a tip, the thank-you page can open Natarta to add a Guardian badge. The badge is saved only on your phone; we don’t link it to your payment or to you.

Links and sharing

When you tap a link (for example a fact-checker or an official warning), that website’s own privacy policy applies. When you share a result, you choose who gets it, and Natarta hides names, numbers, emails and codes in the shared card.

A shared result includes a link to a Natarta tips page on our website. The link holds only the verdict and the kind of message, like “a fake delivery text”, never the message itself or anything personal, and that part of the link is not sent to the website. Like any website, our hosting provider may see basic technical details such as the internet address of whoever opens it.

No ads, no selling, no tracking

Natarta has no ads, no advertising trackers and no analytics that follow you. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

Children

Natarta is made for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top and show it in the app. Questions? Email support.natarta@gmail.com.
